Spin The Ad Launch
Serial entrepreneurs Phyllis Hong & Phil Cheung conceived, designed and built their prototype MagicPack - a programmable holographic fan mounted on a backpack - and turned to GTM for strategic advice and tactical execution. The soft-launch is in December 2024 and there are MagicPacks popping up all over Southern California, San Francisco, Chicago and New York City as our pre-orders are delivered to customers!

Yahoo! Product Innovation Advisory Council
After the dot-com crash, Yahoo Executives decided to start involving their customers in their decision making processes around ad-supported products, new products and marketing. Steven helped to conceive an Advisory Council that he ran and moderated for the next two years. The council grew in size and stature for another 14 years, bringing hundreds of customer voices into the consideration of dozens of new products, campaigns and initiatives. The client on the project at its outset was Wenda Harris Millard.

Google Adwords
When Google's Self-Serve product got so large that they needed to hire account managers to continue it's growth, they turned to Steven to develop the training materials and teach the new hires Digital Marketing 101. He personally trained the first 75 employees who were hired as account managers. Adwords is now known as Google Ads and has grown to become one of the most powerful ad platforms in the digital world. Clients on the project were Sheryl Sandberg and David Fischer, who are now at Facebook.

New York Times & Boston.com
After years of steady revenue growth, Boston.com (owned by the New York Times Company) had a flat year and the Times' management wanted to figure out why. Steven was hired to spend a month with them and dig in to find out what was happening, what had happened and make recommendations. The client on the project was Lincoln Millstein.
