Over the past 20 years, we've worked with large companies, seed-funding-stage startups, non-profits and everything in between. We are choosy about who we work with. The majority of our new clients are introduced through referrals from former clients and colleagues.
About
The firm was founded by Steven Comfort, who started his career in New York advertising agencies before joining the pioneering Wired Magazine and HotWired at the dawn of the commercial WWW in 1995. Steven cut his teeth as a consultant when he opened the San Francisco office for Upstream Group and later went on to run Sales, Biz Dev, Marketing and Customer Service teams at a string of startups.
Two of those companies had successful IPOs, others were purchased by larger players (Yahoo!, Condé Nast, Monster, Twitter, Providence Equity Partners) and a few others continue to operate as profitable private companies. Now Steven enjoys drawing on those experiences to help GTM's clients grow and improve their businesses.
